As we are reaching the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to put together a list of toys and other kid related Amazon finds that would make great gifts. Most of these are Leland and Otto approved, but the other ones are on their wishlists with great reviews!
We bought this set of paint since they are bigger bottles- and we paint a lot! The only sad thing is there isn't black or white paint. Both Leland and Otto love their painting projects, so it is perfect for them.
You can take a look back on some of our other posts, but we had little pre-inked stamps for Leland when he was Otto's age. Now that Leland is older, we got him a stamp pad with whole assortment of stamps.
Basically, these are markers with circle ends to create dots. It is a fun way for kids to do something different. Leland and Otto love using these- we use them on paper to create their own pictures or we have found free printables online for them to "trace" pictures, letters, and numbers!
These crayons have been great for Otto; Leland also likes them- which is a bonus! They LOVE stacking them, and coloring with them.
For Leland, Elisa had puzzles with the little knobs, so she wanted to try these puzzles out for Otto. They both love doing them.
These are great for all sorts of activities. With this set we are able to work on shape and color recognition. Down the road we will be able to do activities with patterns and counting.
These are just so fun to do, so we had to get them!
I got this for Otto for his birthday this past summer, and he enjoys it, to say the least. It is a fun toy for outside.
Both Leland and Otto had one when they were younger, they loved that light effect of it, and the music it played.
10. Candy Land
Elisa has been wanting to start board games with Leland, so this is just a well known game that he will be able to play with color recognition!
11. Doctor Set
Why not a doctor set, right? Playing pretend is a fun way to grow the imagination.
We thought this would be fun for painting projects. It also has a magnetic side which is awesome from some of our activities.
Jessica got Leland this swing, and let's just say it's a hit when we go outside. It is easy to put it away, and take it back out.
Leland and Otto LOVE their play-doh, so we have gotten different sets of these number and letters. There is a shape one that they really like, too!
Bath time is always fun! Leland loves playtime in the bath, and these look like just the ticket for him to play (and minimize the splashing 😊)!
