Today, we wanted to shake things up, and start doing Tip Thursday! This week, is all about dual purpose makeup. Makeup is fun to play around with, but if there are many uses for a product you would want to know about it, right? Well, here are the ones that I use often.

CONCEALER

Using concealer to lighten under eye circles, is the normal use. There is also the simple use of using it as eyeshadow primer. All you have to do, is apply a little dab of it on your lid and blend it in as you blend in the concealer under your eye! It gives an even base to your eyes, but if you are using glitter I wouldn't use concealer as the base.

BRONZER

I LOVE to use bronzer as a crease color, it ties the whole look together! Also, using bronzer for the purpose of warming up your face is the main use of it. I just apply the bronzer to my natural crease, or I sometimes apply is all over my lid. If you want a natural look, it's a natural color to add dimension to your eye. Also, I take a flat, dense brush to go on the lower lash line sometimes, too.

BLUSH

Matte Blush Using a matte blush is normal for most, but did you think of using your blush as eyeshadow? Well, it's just like bronzer, but using blush. Simple. As. That.

Shimmer Blush If you have a light pink shimmery blush, you could use it as a highlight. Using it as a highlight is simple, I just take a brush or a damp makeup sponge and I apply it to wherever I need it. I like to apply it on my cheeks...it blends into my blush since it's just a lighter blush... It's perfect for summer because it kind of gives of a sun-kissed skin look.

HIGHLIGHTER

I use highlighter A LOT! I use it on my cheek bones, brow bone, inner corner, nose, and cupid's bow. I love using highlighter as eyeshadow, as well. When I add bronzer into my crease, I put highlighter on my lid. I like using the Milani Trio Highlighter. It gives a lot of pigment...I found that I like applying it with my finger rather than using a brush.

PALETTES

While traveling, I want to keep packing to a minimal, so finding a bronzer, blush, and highlight palette is quite important. I can use them for face makeup and as eyeshadow, so it just makes sense for me when I'm traveling. If I pack a palette, all I need is mascara...I don't really use foundation on a daily basis.

I hope these tips help!
