TARGET & AMAZON FINDS: KITCHEN EDITION

Updated: Dec 26, 2023

On my last visit to ND we went to the Hardware store (surprise, surprise) and I actually bought something we needed, a new kitchen faucet! Our old one was missing a screw in the handle so it would fall off all the time, not to mention the cats could accidentally turn it on. And I'm not sure how this would work but I'm almost 100% positive the cold water didn't work properly but I could just be making that up. Justin was here for the weekend and was gracious enough to help us with some house projects including putting our new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal in! Needless to say, having a functional faucet has been amazing!!! Even Tyrion loves it! When I there I also got some major kitchen decor styling feels from Jessica's kitchen (something I never thought I would say)! Josh is the cook in this house so I don't spend the majority of my time in the kitchen. We have an open floor plan though so you can see into the kitchen from the living room, and when our neighbors are in their yard and we're in the kitchen doing dishes they can see in our window. So, the easiest solution was to add some curtains by the window and I'm really digging how they turned out!

Here's what I used:

- Curtain Rod from Amazon (product image from Amazon)

- Curtain Rings with Clips from Amazon (product image from Amazon)

- Microstripe Hand Towels from Target (product image from Target)

I had been waiting and waiting to find the right curtains/towels to use and luckily I found them in the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection from Target! I had originally only bought 2 towels and quickly realized I needed 2 more, so I had to make a run to the Hutchinson Target to snag them (it was a relief to know they were in stock somewhere close considering I couldn't order them online)!

I will be talking about the setups to the left and right* of the kitchen sink next week in a post on Grove, but here's some more miscellaneous Target finds, with inspiration from Jessica's kitchen, that I found! (*Minus the stand for the soap and all-purpose cleaner, that was a Target Dollar Spot find.)

Many of the utensils shown are also from Target but I wanted to share this Turntable from Threshold (product image from Target) if you don't already have something like it! I used to have it by our sink but I needed something by the stove to help condense our cooking tools and this was the perfect solution. It doesn't shift on the counter and just as long as the weight is evenly distributed it works perfectly. Plus, it's easy to clean!

If you know me well, you know I don't drink coffee. I'm a tea drinker, if that really even means anything. I also only recently (like within the last 5 years) started drinking tea to kick my energy drink habit. So this is mostly Josh's coffee station but he at least listens to my decorating advice! The coffee canister is out of stock but it's from this line of Hearth & Hand from Target (product image from Target), and I really like the look of it (if only I also baked then I could justify getting the rest of them). Maybe you can still find it in-store somewhere. I really like it because it looks way better than a canister or bag of coffee and I know Josh likes the convenience of it, plus it comes with a scoop! That means none of my other dishes need to smell like coffee!! I could not find a link for the coffee mug tree but found a similar one from Amazon (product image from Amazon). Here's the most similar one I could find from Target. Again, maybe you can still find it in-store. And if you couldn't guess already, the majority of our mugs are also from Target. The obsession is real, and I'm not about to stop it!

Hopefully you enjoyed the post and picked up on something you might be interested in! Have a great weekend, and let me know if you have any questions!
