I have been testing out many makeup products lately. My skin is very dry, and I deal will redness. I have been trying to find products that are light feeling, and work with my skin type. Here are a few products that I have been rotating and loving!
BASE/PRIMER
This primer has been great for moisturizing my skin, and keeping it hydrated when I do put makeup on. The one problem I find with it is that it does have a scent. If that's not something you like the next primer would work for you.
I have recently started using this primer, and I LOVE it! It makes my skin soft and hydrated ready for foundation on top. Also, there's not a scent that stays with you all day like the Hangover primer.
This primer I specifically use wherever I have redness. It doesn't dry out my skin, but I usually use this with an additional primer. It does help with some of my redness and starts to even out my skin.
FOUNDATION/TINTED MOISTURIZER
This foundation claims to be light buildable coverage, and I would agree. I usually use this foundation when I'm looking for more coverage, and it doesn't patch up on my face. I use the shade 240 Natural Beige, and it works for me in the winter time.
I like mixing this with the Revlon foundation or just wearing this. This is a light tinted moisturizer, so it's very light on the skin. I enjoy wearing this in the summer Also, it has hyaluronic acid in it which helps keep your skin hydrated. I use the shade Light 6N.
The newest addition to my collection is this tinted hydrator. I honestly love the look on my skin, and the wear of it throughout the day. I'm able to apply a sheer amount, or build it up a little bit. Either way it looks good. Same as the ColourPop, this has hyaluronic acid. I use the shade Light Medium.
BRONZER/BLUSH/ HIGHLIGHTER
My all time favorite bronzer! I especially like using this in the summer. I have recently noticed that there is shimmer to this bronzer, but not glittery. It adds a healthy glow to the skin which is why I think I enjoy this in the summer so much. I use the shade 6676 Bronzer.
My newest bronzer, and what I have been wearing this winter. This is completely matte, so it is different from the butter bronzer. It's easy to blend and build up if wanted. I use the shade 02 Sun Kissed.
This blush is gorgeous! It's matte, so I have the option of wearing it by itself or layering another on top. I have the shade Tea Rose, and it's the perfect everyday shade.
I usually wear this in the summer, but I have been wanting to add a healthy glow to my skin this winter. Recently, I have been layering it on top of another blush, or wearing it by itself. I have the shade Luminoso, and it is a shimmery blush. There are reviews of people who say it brings out the texture on their skin, or it is too shimmery, but for me it works perfect.
This highlight can be blinding! That's your warning, but in all seriousness, it looks gorgeous on the skin. A little bit goes a long way, and I use a beauty sponge to blend it in after I apply it on the skin. I have the shade PF10575 Champagne which has a gold undertone, so especially in summer it's beautiful.
MASCARA/EYELINER
My FAVORITE mascara! I haven't found anything that compares to it. It makes my lashes voluminous and long. This mascara also keeps my eyelashes curled, and it doesn't weigh them down. I have mentioned this mascara in the past, but it is still my favorite. I use the waterproof version in Blackest Black.
This has been the eyeliner I have been using lately for tight lining, and smudging on my lid. It stays put, and is easy to use. I have the color Coffee, and it's the perfect color to create a soft smudged out eyeliner for me.
EYESHADOW
This palette is everything! I love that I can create a soft eye look, or a smokey one. Pinks and reds aren't really the colors I gravitate towards, but I have enjoyed getting out of my box. All the eye looks I've created all look different but have been gorgeous. The pigment of these shadows are great. Also, the shimmers are amazing, as well.
