I'm coming at you again with some #amazonfinds...this time of the skincare variety!
Back in 2018 (like that was a long time ago ;)), I decided that it was time to step up my skincare game- I did turn 30 and figured it was time to stop going to bed with a full face of makeup every night! This lead me to some research on some products that were easy to use- and gave me some great results.
I haven't been using this particular product long- about two weeks- but I can already tell such a difference on my "11" wrinkles, as Maria likes to call them. I apparently squint a lot and this in turn has caused quite the valley in between my eyes. Two weeks in and I can already see this line smoothing out, as well as the lines on the rest of my forehead. I am seriously in love!
I swear I have the world's driest skin- I suffer from eczema and psoriasis and the winter makes it worse! I actually use two in-shower moisturizers, one for shaving and one to give me some color. I have always liked Jergens lotion and this product is no exception. It smells great and gives me a nice color during the frigid winter months when all I am dreaming about is sunshine. Oh- and it is non-sticky and gives lasting moisture.
As stated above, I have very dry skin and my face is no exception. I have used this moisturizer since I was in college and I LOVE it! It is lightweight on the face and the moisture can't be beat. I use the normal/combo version, but it also comes in dry skin. I apply this everyday after I cleanse and before I put my makeup on and I get lasting moisture throughout the day.
This was another new product that I brought in to my routine after I did some research on the benefits it can have on your skin. I use this every night after I cleanse and put on moisturizer and retinol. It seems to hold the moisture in and I wake up with baby-smooth skin. This product boasts smoother skin and less acne scarring, and anti-aging qualities. I also use a little on my lips and cuticles when they are feeling extra dry.
During my research I found that using a toner is an important part of any skincare routine. I wanted to find something basic since I wasn't sure what toners were all about and I came across this product. I already knew I like Neutrogena products and the alcohol and oil-free aspects were appealing to me- since I didn't want to dry out more and the point of a toner is to get the oil OUT of your skin. I have no complaints about this toner and I use it after I cleanse to get out any other "junk" the cleanser left behind.
As you could probably guess, yes, my lips are also extremely dry. I stumbled across this lip mask when I was searching for natural products and it is fantastic- and even more important, it works great! I use it overnight and I wake up with nice soft lips. I will sometimes use it during the day as a lip balm, too. If you are looking for an inexpensive lip mask that WORKS- get this!
Do you know what works great with a lip mask? A lip scrub, of course! I got this scrub off of a suggestion page when I was purchasing the above lip mask and I found another great product. I don't use it every night (which I should), but when I do it is an easy way to get super smooth lips. Plus it smells amazing and is vegan if you are in to these types of products.
