I live in North Dakota and my family lives in Minnesota, you know what that means, right? I make a lot of weekend trips, of course, and this weekend is another road trip weekend!! Joel and I are headed to a lake cabin owned by a good family friend and I am SUPER excited (I feel that lake life suits me quite well 😊). We went last year and only spent the day, so I am happy that we get to spend the whole weekend this time! I am ready for the lake air, pontoon rides, tubing, grilling, and chilling. We also found out last year that Dexter (my adorable little doggy), also digs the lake life, as he spent most of the day floating around the lake at the foot of a floating raft, enjoying the heck out of life. So as I already hinted at, I am sooo ready for this weekend to start! Needless to say, many weekend trips also equals a lot of time spent packing (there is definitely a balancing act between taking everything and the kitchen sink and way too little- sometimes a girl likes to have outfit options for the day!). I have spent a little time searching out some tips so I can be smarter with my packing and thought I would share the fruits of my labor with you all for your next weekend getaway 😊.
Cheers to the weekend!
